CK45 Chrome Plated Rod Induction and Hardened (HRC 25–32) is manufactured from high-grade medium carbon steel and treated by induction hardening. This process hardens the surface to HRC 25–32 while keeping the core tough and ductile. A layer of hard chrome plating (typically 20–30μm thick) is then applied for excellent corrosion and wear resistance.
This hard chrome plated rod is built to perform under high pressure, side loads, and harsh environments. It is commonly used as a cylinder rod in construction machinery, hydraulic presses, and industrial equipment where strength and surface durability are critical.
